Billing & reimbursement for private doctor’s appointment

As an obstetrician and gynecologist in a private practice, I have no contractual relationship with statutory or private health insurance companies and therefore have no direct billing link to the health insurance companies.

At the end of the appointment, you will receive a receipt for the services I have provided. This must be paid directly at the end of the appointment via cash or debit card. You can submit the receipt to your health insurance company, where up to 80% of the statutory rate will be reimbursed to you.

We are happy to submit the payment to the ÖGK and SVS for you. The statutory rate will then be transferred directly to your account.

If you are unable to keep a booked appointment, we ask you to cancel in good time. We reserve our time exclusively for you and appointments that are not cancelled on time cause cost-intensive idle periods. Therefore, appointments that are not kept or not cancelled 24 hours in advance will be charged at 75 Euros.
